Welcome!I live in sunny Nelson, New Zealand where I work as an artist in textiles and mixed media.
I am hugely enthusiastic about textile and fibre arts. As Creative Director of the annual Changing Threads competition and exhibition, I have helped create a national forum for the exploration and extension of textile and fibre arts. As a teacher, I also encourage others in their self-expression and creative exploration by teaching Classes and Workshops. I am on the executive committee of the Nelson Arts Council which is responsible for promoting and organising exhibitions and art events aimed at enhancing and developing the arts in the Nelson region.As a teacher I love encouraging students to explore their creativity while teaching them skills and techniques which they need. I have exhibited widely in New Zealand and overseas and won many awards for my work. |
